The Description of Mingyue Sodium Sulfite                                        

Sodium sulfite (sodium sulphite) is a soluble sodiumsalt of sulfurous acid(sulfite) with the chemical formulaNa2SO3. It is a product of sulfur dioxide scrubbing, a part of the flue-gas desulfurization process. Sodium sulfite is also used as apreservative to preventdried fruitfrom discoloring, and for preserving meats, and is used in the same way assodium thiosulfate to convert elemental halogensto their respective hydrohalic acids, in photographyand for reducing chlorine levels in pools.

Sodium sulfite is used in dyeing industry as deoxidizer and bleaching agent for a variety of cotton fabric treating and scouring, which can prevent fabrics from local oxidation and deterioration of fibre strength. In photographic industry it is used as a reagent. In organic industry it is used as reducing agent in production of m-phenylenediamine, 25 - bared oxazolone, amino salicylic acid, etc. Textile industry uses it as a stabilizer for synthetic fibre. Other applications include various uses in paper mills, electronic industry, water treatment, etc.
