1. Grade: 4140 Steel Round Bar SAE4140, 42CrMo, 42CrMo4, DIN 1.7225

 

2.  Chemicial composition:

C=0.37~0.44, Mn=0.50~0.80, Si=0.17~0.37, Cr=0.80~1.10, Ni≤0.030. 

 

3.  Deliver condition: annealed, hot rolled, black surface; hardness HB≤210.

 

4.  Specification: diameter 20~500mm, length 2000~9000mm.

 

5. Test: ultrasonic test according to SEP 1921-84 3C/c

 

6. Application:

used for general machinery parts and shafts. Hardenability of the steel higher than C45, suitable for high-frequency hardening, flame hardening, such as surface hardening treatment.
