Kantha is the most popular and ancient art of embroidery crafted by rural women in India.

Kantha embroidery was done with soft saris, with a simple running stitch along the edges. Saris are stitched together with thousands of small & dedicate fine running kantha stitches. While making the piece, the cloth is given layers that are kept together by the stitches. These stitches make the quilt extraordinary. It is made in such a beautiful way that it can be used from both sides (Reversible).

As these are vintage items they may have patches of other color clothes and slight imperfections; this is part of their charm and makes this unique. Each piece is unique and has different colors and patterns on both sides.

It can be used in a variety of ways as blanket, bed cover, throw, quilt, table cover, curtains, rug for yoga and wall hanging.
