Fire-Resistant Mica Tape

Introduction

R-5461 serials of Fire-resistant Mica Tapes consist of phlogopite mica paper (or synthetic mica paper) impregnated with a special silicone resin and a glass fiber cloth (or Polyethylene film) as supporting agent. These tapes have great flexibility and high tensile strength, and they can be used to create inorganic, fire-resistant insulation for electrical cables.

According to mica paper and support agent, R-5461 mica tape has follow different types.

R-5461-P-GS: Single side reinforce phlogopite mica tape with glass fiber cloth;

R-5461-S-GS: Single side synthetic mica tape with glass fiber cloth;

R-5461-P-GD: Double sides reinforce phlogopite mica tape with glass fiber cloth;

R-5461-S-GD: Double sides synthetic mica tape with glass fiber cloth;

R-5461-P-GFD: Double sides reinforce phlogopite mica tape with glass fiber cloth and film;

R-5461-S-GFD: Double sides synthetic mica tape with glass fiber cloth and film;

Qualification (as the Q/R 101-2010 company standard)
