Brief Description

This Window Tint Meter is a professional instrument for measuring light permeability of all transparent & semi-transparent materialssuch as glass, plexiglass, plastic, acrylic, etc. It measures the total amount of Visual Light Transmission (VLT)through a window and any coatings (tint film) on that window after it has been treated with aftermarket window film. It also has an auto calibration function for optimum results of measurement.

This window tint meter is handy, portable & easy to use. Just slide along a partially rolled down window and get accurate data instantly. And it has its own internal light source, this meter can work day & night. RS232C cable and software CD are optional for connection and work with PC.

This instrument is mainly used for measuring the light permeability of car windows since there are rules & regulations in many countries requiring certain level of light permeability of car windows. It can be widely used for testing and developing different coating materials in material science applications.
