1.THE TASK OF BLAST FURNAC IRONMAKING

The task of blast furnace is to use reducing agent (coke, coal, etc) to turn iron ore or ferrous materials into liquid pig iron under high temperature.

The production of blast furnace is finished through blast furnace and auxiliary equipment. The blast furnace proper is main equipment of pig iron smelting, it is erect cylindrical furnace proper made of refractory materials, the outermost layer is furnace shell made of steel plate, there is cooling device between furnace shell and refractory materials.

In order to complete the production of blast furnace iron making, it also needs other auxiliary equipment except blast furnace proper
