Polyethylene (PE) has good chemical stability and proofs against acid, alkali and aqueous solution of salts as well as general organic solvents below 60°C. Its cold resistance is also very good, it can keep stable under -70°C~-80°C, but its heat resistance, oxidation resistance and light ageing property is poor. It can be applied to general anticorrosive pipes for chemical industry and so on.
