Pure Silver Contact:

(5)It is one of the most widely used materials in small capacities and low-voltage apparatuses, especially good for the electrical appliances with working current below 5 A.
AgCdO Contacts:
(1)AgCdO is a kind of most important contact material among silver metal-oxide materials, and it is widely used for low-voltage devices.
(2)When the temperature is higher than 900oC, CdO is sublimated and the contact surface is cooled down in order to reduce and even extinguish the arc energy. This method can increase the resistance against welding.
(3)Contact materials produced by powder sintering-extruding methods have higher density and low
resistance rate.
(4)It also has higher welding resistance and uniform arc erosion inside.
AgNi Electrical Contact:
(1)AgNi contact material contains 10% to 40% Ni.
(2)Material transfer in case of DC is very low.
(3)High electrical and thermal conductivity.
(4)Good anti-welding properties and electrical wear-resistant properties with rated current below 10 A.
AgSnO2 Contacts:
(1)The ideal material of replacing AgCdO and has excellent properties of contacts.
(2)Higher thermal stability.
(3)Higher resistance against welding and erosion than AgCdO material.
(4)Non-poisonous. So it is a new and environment-friendly material used in contact.
(5)Current erosion resistance of AgSnO2 is superior to other silver alloy oxide above 100A.
At the rate current of 70A, its performance is better than AgCdO.
