Neuropathy: Diabetic neuropathy can reduce your ability to feel pain, heat, and cold. Diabetics can develop minor cuts, blisters, or pressure sores or other injuries, but they may not feel them due to the insensitivity. However, if these minor injuries are left untreated, they may lead to serious outcomes, such as ulceration and even amputation.
