Rock Point Load Index test equipment

Suitable for all kinds of rocks, except for extremely soft rock, can grade the rocks, supply the basis for calculating the rock compressive strength parameters by formula.

The point load tester is used to determine the Point Load Strength Index (Is(50)). This index provides a method for establishing rock strength classifi cation. The index can also be used to determine the rock anisotropy as well as to predict other rock strength properties, such as uniaxial tensile and compressive strengths.
