Principle of laser hair removal
The principle of laser hair removal is "selective photothermal effect",
irradiated hair follicles directly by adjusting laser with different wavelength,
energy, pulse width, frequency and other parameters. Laser light is absorbed by melanin in the hair shaft,
damaging the follicular epithelium to cause permanent hair reduction without damaging surrounding tissue.
Characteristics of laser hair removal
1.The growth of hair is divided into three period, growth period, catagen and telogen.
Laser can only destroy the hair follicle in growth period, it has no obvious effect for hair in catagen and telogen.
So the laser hair removal effect is significant for multiple treatments.
2.There are differences in each treatment interval, according to different body parts because hair growth is different.
3.Laser hair removal is applicable to all parts of light and dark hair but not white hair.
