Versa Technology’s VX-Pi1000ATM is an IEEE 802.3at compatible Power over Ethernet Injector which provides DC 56V over Ethernet cables. The VX-Pi1000ATM Power Over Ethernet Injector inserts DC Voltage into Cat.5 cable allowing the cable between the injector (VX-Pi1000ATM) and PoE Ready Device to transfer data and power simultaneously. The maximum distance between the injector (VX-Pi1000ATM) and PoE Ready Device is 100 meters. With VX-Pi1000ATM being installed, it combines Ethernet digital data with power over the twisted pair cables as an IEEE 802.3at compatible Power over Ethernet Injector.
Unlike the existing Power over Ethernet Injector, the VX-Pi1000ATM also provides 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet connection ability.
The Versa Technology VX-Pi100ATM is perfect PoE Injector for PoE ready 802.11n Wireless Access Points. 802.11n has maximum of 300Mbps bandwidth under best condition. 802.11n will operate around 130Mbps under normal condition. Only VX-Pi1000ATM can provide both the bandwidth and power for 802.11n Wireless Access Points.
