Description of sealing gasket

Sealing gasket is the main component connecting pipes and equipments flanges, which is very important for

sealing. The function of sealing is under the help of pressing force from the bolts to make gasket undergoes

plasticity or flexible deformation and to plunge the gap of flanges clamping surface for the purpose of good sealing.

 

Gaskets are normally made from a flat material, a sheet such as paper, rubber, silicone, metal, cork, felt, neoprene, nitrile rubber,

fiberglass, polytetrafluoroethylene (otherwise known as PTFE or Teflon) or a plastic polymer (such aspolychlorotrifluoroethylene).

 

There are many standards in gasket for flanges of pipes. The gaskets for flanges can be divided in major 4 different categories:

Q1.  Are you manufacturer or a trading company?

A1. We're real manufacturer of flanges,studded tubes,gaskets,endsockets,pipefitting.,etc.,

 

Q2.  What's the delivery time?

A2.   It depends on the season , current orders and your order quantity. Normally we can deliver goods within 7 or 30days after receiving your deposit.

 

Q3.  What about packages?

A3.  Our export packages are very strong,solid. We usually pack it in wooden or plywood case or pallet. If you have special request about package,please let us know.

 

Q4. What’s your main loading port?

A4. Because our factory is near Shanghai. Usually we send goods to Shanghai warehouse or the truck company load containers from our factory. Shanghai is loading port on our b/l.  If you need us send goods to other port in China, please let me know.

 

Q5. What's the payment terms?

A5.  T/T 30%deposit,balance by T/T before delivery or against b/l copy. L/C 100% at sight. Both are acceptable.For amount less than 5000usd including samples, we can prefer T/T 100 percent in advance.

 

Q6. Do you ship goods by air or sea? are you responsible for buying insurances?

A6.  We can ship goods by vessel or by air. It depends on our customer. We can do it based on FOB,CNF,CIF,Ex work terms mainly.

For CIF terms, insurances are covered by us. When we do it by FOB, we will send shipment notice to you by email three days prior to b/l date for insurance coverage.

 

Q7.  How to get a very quick and exact quotation after I send an inquiry to your customer service team?

A7.  When we get full details about the products you inquired,, we can give quick response and exact offer.  E.g. If you’re interested in our flanges, you have to tell us which type do you need and other specification request, material, standard, nominal pressure, nomInal diameter, raced face.,etc. 

 

Q8.  After placing a purchase order, how to avoid any mistakes or misunderstanding? How to make orders smoothly operated? 

A8.  It’s preferred to list all your details about shipment ,e.g. Consignee, notify party, tel, fax, vat no.  designated forwarder, shipping  marks, package requirement, free detention period, house b/l or master b/l do you need.  In addition to invoice,packing list ,bill of lading, if you have any other documents needed,  e.g. Certificate of origin, Form-A, Form E, analysis report, drawings, please write to us.

 

Q9.  Which HS code do you show on the certificate of origin, Form-E.,etc?

A9.  Sometimes the HS code in your country is different ours in China.  If you need to show your HS code to facilate customs clearance, please indicate it in your email.

 

 

Q10.  Where's your factory located? Is it convenient to visit your company? 

A10.  Our company are factory are located in Wuxi city. It's one hour drive/highrail from Shanghai.
