Cylindrical roller bearing are available in many designs, series and sizes. The majority are single row bearings with a cage. High-capacity bearings, single and double row full complement bearings (without a cage) complete the europe standard assortment. 
Bearings with a cage can accommodate heavy radial loads, fast accelerations and high speeds. Full complement bearings incorporate a maximum number of rollers and are therefore suitable for very heavy radial loads at moderate speeds. MBY high-capacity cylindrical roller bearings combine the high load carrying capacity of a full complement bearing with the high speed capability of a bearing with a cage. There are N, NU, NJ, NF, NUP series for single row. For single row full complement, there are NCF, NJG, SL. For double rows, there are NN, NNU, NNJ,NNF,NNUP,NNCL, NNCF,NNC,SL.

•  The roller and roller race is line contact and large radial capacity which help to bear heavy loading and punching loading.
•  Due to small friction, it suit for high speed operation machine. The limit speed is near to deep groove ball bearings.
• N, NU type of bearing is movable in axial direction which can accept a certain position change between the bearing and bearing shell because of heat swell expanding or installation tolerance. 
•  There is a high standard requirment for finishing bearing or bearing shell hole. After installing the bearing, require to control strictly the axial center line, avoiding strength focusing on one part. 
• The outer race or inner race is able to separate which make it convenient to install and dismantle.
• Singel row & Double row full complement cylindrical roller bearings have solid outer and inner rings together with rib-guided cylindrical rollers. Since these bearings have the largest possible number of rolling elements, they have extremely high radial load carrying capacity, high rigidity and are suitable for particularly compact designs. Due to the kinematic conditions, however, they do not achieve the high speeds that are possible when using cylindrical roller bearings with cage. Single row full complement cylindrical roller bearings are in the form of semi-locating bearings.
