Use the right technique when shoveling snow. Don't lift with your back if you have to bend over and avoid bending at your waste. Instead, bend at the knees. Grip your shovel with both hands, but make sure they're not close to each other. Distancing your hands will add leverage to the shovel and make picking up the snow easier. Stand with good posture and try to avoid hunching over. To keep your balance, your feet should be about shoulder-width apart. Shovel the deep snow about an inch at a time. Otherwise, your loads will be too heavy.
