ABOUT PLA/CORNSTARCH nonwoven fabric:
PLA (Poly Lactic Acid) is a kind of completely biodegradable synthetic fiber, it can be obtained from grain. It is always made from corn starch, so the fabric is called corn starch fiber. It has good biological compatibility and biological absorbability, and good biodegradability, hygroscopicity and antimicrobial resistance, flame retardancy, and PLA has the best heat resistance.
The 100%PLA products are totally non toxic and after disposed into microbial environment ,such as rubbish bin or earth, can be decomposed 100% into CO2 and H2O,after 90 days. It won’t send out the poisonous gas when burning . Won’t cause pollution . It is a kind of sustainable development of ecological fiber.
