Detailed Description 

 

GRILL

The stainless steel grill on the Californiahot dog cart is a double rack four independent burners with plenty of cooking space. The drip tray is below the barbecue and sufficient to hold grease for months, so you won’t have to clean it every day. Please know that people prefer grilled hot dogs and sausages rather than steamed.

 

STEAM TABLE

The steam table on the Californiahot dog cart is double and can accommodate various size pots and lids. You can use the steamer for the buns, chili and sauerkraut. You can also steam your hot dogs since the steam table has its own burner and shut off valve. The stainless steel pans and lids (2 spillage pans, 6 1/3 pans and 2 roll tops1) are included and easily removable for cleaning. These are NSF approved and listed.

 

SINKS (4 total)

The Californiahot dog cart has three ware washing sinks with hot and cold water. Each ware washing sink is large enough to accommodate the largest utensil. Ware washing sinks are 12" wide x 12" long x 10" deep. Each ware washing sink is equipped with a mixing swivel faucet capable of providing hot water at a minimum of 120 degrees Fahrenheit and cold water at 99 degrees Fahrenheit or less as required by law. The hand washing sink is separated from the ware washing sinks by a metal splashguard with a height of 8".

 

The hand washing sink is 12" wide x 9" long x 10" deep. The hand washing sink is equipped with a mixing swivel faucet capable of providing hot water at a minimum of 120 degrees Fahrenheit and cold water at 99 degrees Fahrenheit or less as required

by law.

 

WATER HEATER

The water heater on the Californiahot dog cart is capable of heating water to a minimum of 90 degrees Fahrenheit. It has a capacity of 4 gallons and it is interconnected to the potable water tanks.

 

WATER PUMP

The Californiahot dog cart is equipped with an electrical water pump capable of delivering a minimum of 1 gallon per minute of hot and cold water.

 

POTABLE WATER TANK

The 4/5 gallon potable water tanks on the California hot dog cart are sufficient in volume to fulfill the required 5 gallon minimum for hand washing and the 15 gallon for ware washing and food preparation.

 

WASTEWATER TANK

All waste lines on the Californiahot dog cart are connected to the wastewater tank with watertight seals. The wastewater tank has an air vent water flow to prevent potential flooding of the interior of the cart. The tank has a capacity of 36 gallons and it has a discharge valve to facilitate complete draining.

 

BEVERAGE BIN

The beverages bin on the Californiahot dog cart has its own drain and is insulated to maximize the life of the ice. It holds 144 cans. The lid is hinged and easily reachable for the customers to help themselves and for your to refill it.

 

REFRIGERATION UNIT

The cart is equipped with an electrical refrigeration unit to store all potentially hazardous foods as required by California law.

 

STORAGE COMPARTMENT

There are two storage compartments on the Californiahot dog cart. One is in the front and one is in the back.  The storage compartment in the back is the perfect place to keep extra napkins, extra foil, paper bags, straws, tongs, spoons, etc. The storage compartment in the front under the steam table is the place to keep your fresh hot dog buns. Both compartments have a door with a safety latch.

 

UMBRELLA

The two 9 feet market umbrella on the Californiahot dog cart could be green, navy blue and some other colors (your choice). The umbrella holders are at each side of the cart, which gives you perfect shade. No need to clean and it is much cheaper and faster to replace. 15 years of experience selling hot dogs will tell you that a vinyl umbrella needs to be clean with a brush and soap in an open space once a week from the dust and the grease.

 

HEATING SOURCE

The grill and the steam table on the Californiahot dog cart run on propane. There are two propane tanks stored neatly and easily-accessible behind a door with a safety latch in its own propane compartment located in the front part of the cart. It holds two twenty-pound tanks, so you will not run out in the middle of the day. Tanks are not included.

 

TRAILER

The Californiahot dog cart rests on a D.O.T. approved heavy duty trailer (title available) with baked enamel finished. The leaf spring suspension system allows you to tow it at freeway speeds with safety. The tires size is 4.8” x 8” standard.

 

TOWING BAR

The tow bar hitch on the Californiahot dog cart is removable (great feature, as this looks better and you can walk around the trailer without having to jump over it). It is equipped with a 1 7/8" ball coupler with two safety chains, and is also available with an optional size 2" ball coupler.

 

LIGHTS

The lights on the Californiahot dog cart are tail, stop, signal and hazards. The wiring harness for the lights is male. The lights come with a license plate holder.

 

WHEEL LEVELING JACK

Keep your Californiahot dog cart on the level with this easy-to-use 1500 lb. capacity swing-back trailer jack. With the swing-back style there’s no need to remove the jack when hauling the hot dog cart, just fold it back and away. The trailer jack has a side crank handle to level it.
