BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The model is totally hand made from hard wood using plank on frame construction method by skillful artisans with hundred hours of hand carved and hand painted as real ship.

It is  not kit but fully assembled and ready for immediate presentation or display.

HISTORY

Norske Love  was a 36 cannons ship for the Danish East India Company,  later called “Oresund” in 1772,  launched in 1765.

The Norske Love was originally named after the the Norwegian Lion and the Danish-Norwegian Imperial Coat of Arms and was used as a guard ship in Oresund and other Danish waters.

The ship left Copenhagen December 4, 1707.  On December 31, 1707, the ship sank in Lambavík in the Faroe Islands. In 1789 it was equipped as a guard ship to protect Russian ships in the Danish waters and in 1795, was used to give shelter for homeless families after the Fire of Copenhagen that same year. The ship was deleted from the naval register in 1798. 

Model will be extremely well packaged in a sturdy wooden crate and put in a carton box for maximum protection.
