Model will be extremely well packaged in a sturdy wooden crate and put in a carton box for maximum protection.

HISTORY

The San Felipe was named after the patron saint of Philip IV of Spain, a beautiful Spanish Man of War and the lead ship of the famous Spanish Armada launched in 1690.

The San Felipe, also called The Real San Felipe , was used in the war against the French and British was to help protect Spanish settlements and harbors, to transport treasures, and to safeguard the long and hazardous passage back to Spanish ports. In 1705, after hours of battle battle between  Spanish ships and British ships, The San Felipe was captured by an English ship and then she went down to the bottom of the ocean with a large number of golds. Prior to this she had been one of the "workhorses" of the Spanish fleet.

Tall ship models are professionally packed in carton boxes with extremely secure wooden crates inside the carton boxes. The ship inside is tied down with many bungee cords and cushioned with wooden bars or foam blocks to protect it from moving sideways and upwards.
