Description:

R-8 is a one-part , solvent-free, permanent plastic first hot melt sealant based on polyisobutene for insulating glass. 301-B keeps plastic and sealing over a wide temperature range for sealant surface. It has good adhesion to glass, aluminum alloy, zinc plating steel , stainless steel and etc.

Where to use:

R-8 is mainly used for insulating glass together with our company’s R-8 two-part silicone structural sealant to finish two layer seal.

R-8 has lower water vapor transmittance, a better aging resistance, high quality insulating glass provides

effective guarantee for production .

R-8 has high cohesive strength, especially suitable for production big plate insulating glass

Application:

Clean and dry adhesion surface to get rid of dirty, oily things. R-8 is applied by hot-melt butyl extrusion machine, or applied by fully automatic gluing machine.The environment temperature

should not be lower than 10℃in application. Extrusion temperature is 110~130℃, glue the mouth temperature should be higher than plastic cylinder temperature 1~2 ℃.

Notices: The concrete temperature is related to heating efficiency of machine and Temperature measurement shows accuracy

User adjust temperature and gelatinize pressure according to requirements of making the field conditions and

insulating glass, to achieve the best effect of coating.Not recommended pressure glue pump, because of the

barometric pressure lower and difficult to adjust, is not conducive to operation.
