Two flutes, 1/4" & 1/2" shank A twin flute cutters with bearing guide on the bottom of the shaft below the blades, the same diameter as the blades providing a flush trim of anything protruding beyond the surface that the bearing runs along. Primarily designed to flush trim overlaid surfaces such as laminates, this cutter can also be used for template work where the template is below the worked material or, alternatively, with a router mounted in a router table where the template is above the worked material. In both cases it is suitable for straight and particularly shaped patterns.
