  • For plastic mould and die holders.
  • For making main shaft of streamer, bolt for 400°C.
  • For making the hammer stem and aggravating drill pipe.

  •   Heat treatment of 4140 alloy steel  
  • Forging:Heat slowly and uniformly to 1000°C. After forging cool slowly.
  •  Annealing: 780-800`C slow cooling
  • Annealed Hardness:200-230HB
  • Oil Hardening:840-860 
  • Tempering:470-560
  • HRC Secondar Hardness:41-52
  • Characteristic of 4140 alloy steel  
  • High strength and toughness !
  • Good hardenability and the quenching deformation is small!
  • Good processability and easy polishing.
  • Easy texture and platable.
  • The strength and section are bigger than 35CrMo(4135).
