Quality Dental Intraoral Sensors
This sensor is CMOS area image sensor developed for X-ray imaging. This sensor has 1.5 mega pixels (1000 x 1500) with a pixel size of 20 x 20μm and a monitor photodiode for monitoring and detecting X-ray irradiation. FOP (fiber optic plate) used as the input window ensures high image quality and long sensor life even under exposure to X-rays.
This sensor supports USB 2.0. The sensor is connected to a USB cable that allows direct connection to a PC or other control devices to be dust and water proof, equivalent of IP67.
Features:
→Pixel size: 20 x 20 μm
→1000 (H) x 1500 (V) pixel format

Feature 01 Set-up example
Up to three sensors can be connected to one PC at a time.
Feature 02 Monitor photodiode
A monitor photodiode is arranged along the entire circumference of effective pixel area to monitor the dose of irradiated X-ray at regular intervals. The CMOS area image sensor will be able to automatically start integration by detecting X-ray irradiation with the monitor photodiode.
• Three detection/ integration modes
There are two ways to set an integration time. One is to be determined an integration time by the sensor automatically, and the other is to be determined by an operator. In addition, in the latter case, there are two different ways to start integration.
◊ Automatic detection / Automatic integration mode
When you are using DC type X-ray source, you will be able to take images all automatically. If you would like to use AC type X-ray source, it will not be suitable to use it.
◊ Automatic detection / Manual integration mode
The start of integration is determined by the sensor automatically, but an integration time has to be set by an operator. When you are using AC type X-ray source, you will be able to take images properly. This mode will be available for both AC and DC type X-ray source.
◊ Manual detection / Manual integration mode
You will be able to take images regardless of X-ray irradiation. Therefore, this mode is useful when you would like to take dark images as a background image. The integration time has to be set by an operator.
