           There are two kinds of TiN, one is Decorative TiN, the other is Functional TiN. Decorative TiN is used for decoration and have no other material work. But Functional TiN is is titanium nitride, nano coating so that the service life of cutter with TiN is 2-3 times than that with on TiN. And it is much more hard. 

2. What is different between Carbide and HSS cutters?

           Carbide material is anti-friction but asy to broken, HSS material is not anti-friction but hard to broken. Besides, carbide is higher precision than HSS.
