With a unique optical sensing chamber designed to sense smoke particles produced by a wide range of combustion sources,OT706 stand-alone optical smoke detectors are well suited to effectively respond to a wide spectrum of fires including slow smoldering fires, often generated in households. This chamber is protected by a fine mesh screen, which can be cleaned or replaced. The detector has an advanced smoke ASIC inside which has complete self-diagnosis that can greatly reduce false alarm.
