Specification:

Calcium Stearate is a Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) Product.  Our NF Calcium Stearate is used as a mold release agent in the production of tablets, capsules, and candy.  It can also used as a stabilizer or emulsifier. 

Calcium Stearate has numerous industrial applications as well.  It is used in cement manufacturing to prevent secondary efflorescence, and in the production of paper to creates as matte finish and improve the strength of the paper.

USES AND APPLICATIONS:

Plastics: It is used as a heat stabilizer in PVC and as lubricant and releasing agent.

Rubber: Release Aid & Adhesion Prevention.

Personal Care: Anti-Tack and Gelling Agent.

Cosmetics: Anti-Caking Agent in Powdered Cosmetics.
