General information
LZB glass pipeline flow meter is used for liquid, gas and many other single applications measuring, it’s a low cost measuring equipment and simple in structure, operation and high accuracy in measuring, easy for maintenance and repairing. It is wildly used in chemical industry, chemical fiber, fertilizer, petroleum, pharmaceutical, metallurgy, dyes, paper, food, water treatment and environmental research.
Measuring theory
The movable float is fitted in a cone shaped vertical glass pipeline. It will move when application flow through from bottom to the top. It stays at a position when the float is balance on gravity, buoyancy and viscous forces together, and the current position is stand for the current flowing rate.

Installation and operation____________________
The installation of the flow meter:
- There should be enough room available around the equipment for easier maintenance.
- For calibration, repair, changing and cleaning of the equipment, by-pass should be fitted along the equipment. (see below picture for detail)
- The pipeline should be cleaned for the first time installation.
- The pipeline should be immovable before installation of the equipment to prevent damage.
- One way check valve should be installed at downstream of the equipment to prevent equipment damage from countercurrent, especially water v-cone.
- Filter should be installed at upstream of the equipment when application content particles and dirt to prevent blocking of the pipeline.
- Suitable buffer or amount setting device should be installed at upstream of the equipment when the application is in pulsating flow to prevent shaking of the float.
- The flow meter should be installed vertically.
- Valve should be fitted at upstream and flow control valve should be installed at downstream at 5~10 times distance of the bore size.
- The minimum calibration line should be at the bottom when installing.
