EJA438E Yokogawa 4-20ma pressure transducer released in 2012, combines the ruggedness and success of EJA-A range with the class-leading technology and performance of the EJX, owns premium performance compare to EJA-A series, like fast response to 90 msecond, long stability +/- 0.1% of URL for 7 years, Impulse line blockage detection, higher static work pressure and etc; which replace EJA-A series gradually. It offers the most technologically advanced solution with class-leading performance and stability specifications. Additionally, EJA-E offers low power 1 to 5 VDC for Hart 7 protocol, which reduce carbon dioxide(CO₂) emissions by 30%.

EJA438E Yokogawa 4-20ma pressure transducer use one diaphragm seal to prevent process medium form entering directly into the pressure-sensing assembly of the pressure transmitter, which connect to the transmitter using capillary filled with fill fluid, which is best option for harsh working occasions like acid, high temperature and etc. There are two type of standard flanges optional with size from 1 1/2 to 4 inches, Max. pressure grade to ANSI #600.

It is used to measure gauge pressure of liquid, gas, or steam, which outputs a 4 to 20 mA DC signal liner to the measured pressure. The 1-5V DC low power supply protocol Hart 7 is optional.
