HOW ARE THEY ACTIVATED?

Simply open up the protective wrapper and remove the SOS Flood Bag. Flatten out each bag and ensure the contents are evenly distributed. Immerse the Flood Bag inside a container of water (not compatible with sea water). Within 3 minutes the Flood Bag will be fully expanded and ready for use like a regular sand bag.

HOW DO THEY WORK?

Each Flood Bag contains SAP (Super Absorbent Polymer) crystals. These crystals quickly absorb water which expands them to fill each sack. After expansion , each sack will weigh up to 18kgs, so please be careful lifting.

HOW CAN I BUILD A FLOOD BARRIER?
For best results, stack the fully expanded Flood Bags parallel to the direction of the floodwaters. Place Flood Bags in layers, like a brick wall, making sure that in alternate layers, each Flood Bag overlaps the one below by half. Press Flood Bags firmly into place to eliminate gaps and create a tight seal. Plastic sheeting can also be used to provide a more watertight seal.

HOW MANY DO I NEED?

Each layer of Flood Bags can provide a barrier for about 5cm of floodwater, however it is recommended that at least 2 layers are used for better protection. A pack of 5 Flood Bags provides a barrier for a standard 1 metre wide door, up to 10cm of floodwater.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Expanded Flood Bags can last for several weeks, thus providing an effective flood barrier until the flood waters have fully receded. Flood Bags cannot be re-used under normal conditions.

ARE THEY ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY?
We believe it is important that while you protect your property you also protect nature. That’s why Flood Bags are a totally environmentally friendly product.Once flood waters have receded simply cut open the Flood Bags and dispose of the SAP crystals. Not only are the contents non-polluting and environmentally safe, but they can also be mixed into your garden soil to help the soil retain water. The outer bag can then be re-cycled or disposed of with your regular household refuse.

if you put the used ploymer under the ground,then it can keep water for about 1month then return to soil fully need about 80days,if under direct sunshine will be faster,need about 5-7days.

What is the usable life of the nylon bag? Same 8 yrs?

yes,same as JUTE SAP BAG.

What is the filled height of the doorway bags? What is the filled weight of the doorway bags?

the height can reach about 15-18cm fully aborbed water at the toppest.will reach about 20-21kgs at last.

Non-woven SAP Bag-what is the material made of; what is the point of using this material if the bags are generally not reusable? What is the filled height and filled weight of the non-woven bags?

the material is non-woven,very clean and smooth like attached blue one.

drop the bag into water,make it meet water fully,and the SAP expanded quickly,after about 3mins,the bag inflated fully,the final weight reach about 5kgs,the toppest height is 9cm.and the outside material seems very strong.the surface is very clean and smooth,very suitable in hospital,operation room,school,kitchen etc.

What is the cost per bag of imprinting a logo?

the logo often single color,not very complex,for each side on each bag cost $0.16/pc.

Can bags be mixed of various sizes to achieve 1,000 piece minimum?

yes,i think so,if we just have stock will be better,anyway,please list the bags you need with quantity,then i will check with production leader.
