The PCE-FM Series force meters are under control of a microprocessor and it is easy to read the measure results on the display, which can be turned to 180°. The device is powered by batteries or mains adaptor (500mA).Through the optional software and RS-232 cable, all the measurement data can be transferred to computer. There is also an optional test stand for this PCE-FM series.

Data is transferred to a computer, using the software, at a rate of one reading every 2 seconds.
The force meter can transfer data at a quicker rate when transferring from memory to a computer, one reading every 0.25 seconds using Windows hyper terminal.
