there are so many different navigation light fittings that it becomes difficult to be sure that the bulbs will actually shine the correct colour in the correct direction as the position of the bayonet fitting varies from boat to boat. we use an adaptor into which the replacement bulb is fitted then the adaptor is turned to ensure the light sectors are correct.
