Description
Series WXC centerless lathe is a high-efficient lathe which is specialized in rough processing and finishing of the surface of slender shaft.Not only quickly remove surface hardened layer,cracks and other defects,but also can get high precision.
During processing,the bar itself doesn't rotate.The cutter head drives the tools rotating at high speed to peelingthe surface of the bar.At the same time,after peeling,the bar keeps walking straight ahead.The machine suits for processing the bars and wire rods.
Series WXC Centerless lathe, includes semi-automatic hydraulic type and CNC type.
Applications
1. Ferrous metals:
Stainless steel, bearing steel, spring steel, tool steel, structural steel, alloy steel, free-cutting steel, air valve steel, gear steel. etc.
2. Nonferrous metals:

Processing Flow
Advantages
1. Centerless lathe has incomparable advantages in processing over-length bar.In theory,it can proces the bar of infinite length.
2.It can also process rod,or turning rod into bars.
4. The precessing speed: 1~12m/min which is several times faster than the general lathe.
5. High precision. The diameter tolerance ≤IT9 while the surface roughness ≤6.3μm after peeling.The surface roughness can be less than 0.8μm if our straightening machines are used afterward.
