Brief introduction:
erw pipe mill line / HFW high frequency welded pipe making machine can produce round, square, rectangular pipes in outside diameter of 8-219mm and in wall thickness of 0.4-8.0mm.
In the HFW process, metal strip from a coil is brought into a series of rollers which progressively form it into a tube shape and the longitudinal seam of the tube is resistance welded using the heat concentrated on the welding area brought by using the high frequency electric current.
Characteristics:
1. No filler metal used, no effect on chemical composition of pipe
2. Fast speed, ideally suitable for mass production

Line flow:
Uncoiling → Leveling → Shearing and end welding → Strip accumulating → Forming → HF Welding → Bead and burr removing → Cooling → Sizing → Straightening → Speed testing → Flying saw cutting → Pipe running out and collecting

Process:
Steel strip is fed with a high capacity accumulator in order to achieve continuous welding.
The strip goes through the forming unit and become an open seam pipe.High frequency electric current heat where the strip edges meet under skin effect and proximity effect and the heated edges joint and weld together under forcing pressure by the squeezing rolls without filler material.
Immediately subsequent to welding, internal and external burrs are removed in order to achieve a uniform surface.
The pipe string is brought to the exact required and precise ouside diameter and straightness by passing through a set of sizing rolls. The pipe string is finally cut to length by a flying cut-off operating at the same speed as the pipe. Following beveling, hydrostatic testing, no-destructive testing, the pipes are subject to final inspection for the compliance to customer requirement.

HFW welded steel pipes are widely used in the areas of electric heating tube, cooler tube, refrigerator tube, automobile frame tube, fitness equipment tube, furniture tube, pressure transmission tube, liquids transportation and distribution pipe, ventilation piping and steel structures for construction and other general purpose by means of precise production tolerance and high capacity manufacturing method.
