Si-Ba-Ca alloy is a kind of high efficiency compound alloy. It is  deoxidizer and desulfurizer in steel making industry.Sometimes ,it is also used as dephosphorization agent.Meanwhile,it is inoculant and modifier in casting.The barium can protect calcium in the steel liquid and reduce the oxidation of calcium ,thus achieving the purpose of dealing with the steel liquid.
