Toughened glass:

Toughened glass is also called tempered glass,Tempered glass is a type of glass with evenly distributed compressive stresses on the surface which is made by heating float glass to nearly softening point and then cooling it down rapidly by air. During the instant cooling process, the glass exterior is solidified due to rapid cooling while the interior of glass is cooled down relatively slowly. This process will improve the glass exterior compressive stress and interior tensile stress resistance which can improve the overall mechanical strength of glass by gemination and result in good thermal stability.

Toughened glass production process

1.Cutting : cutting the annealing glass to the actual needs of shape.
2.Glass edging: Edging machine to mill the four edges to prevent frund when steeling,while maintaining the beautiful appearance.
3.Drilling hole:If need to drilling hole using drilling machine.
4.Washing dry:cleaning the glass with washing maching.
5. Tempered glass:Tempered glass is produced by heating annealed glass in a furnace to 700°,then the glass is rapidly cooled with jets of cold air to 40°,
through the procedures, the original glass is formed of tempered glass.
