1.  Great mat for kitty. This soft and pliable, rubber mat catches the small pellets of cat litter very well. It goes great with the decor (neutral color) and the mat controls the scattered litter. The mat is made out of rubber but it's woven, almost like crochet with loops and holes. It catches the spilled litter like a charm. Would recommend this to anyone with cats.

2.   Good for small spaces and kittens/small cats. I've been cat-sitting a 16-year-old male cat, and he isn't the tidiest of gentlemen (likes to fling litter all over the place--gets over the high sides of his box and onto the floor). These were so inexpensive that I bought two. However, they were too small and insubstantial for this big boy's messes. I was annoyed that I was going to have to return the mats--however, I have a 20-year-old female cat that lives at home with my parents (I got her when I was in high school!), and I asked my mom if she'd like to give the mats a try. She did, and they work perfectly. My old-lady cat is tiny and was never a huge mess-maker, but the mats trap any little granules that get caught between her paw pads. My mom says there's a lot less to sweep and the mats are easy to clean. My bottom line: if you have a small and/or not insanely messy cat, this mat will work just fine!

3.   Actually catches cat litter. I love the mats I bought , not only do they help with keep the cat frm having its paws track litter but also easy to wash with no hassle at all.

4.   Works great!! This mat is a great buy and a must-have! It actually holds the litter and prevents it from spilling out in the floor. My Kitty is a "slinger" when she's covering, too! You can either hand wash it or wash outside with a water hose. Very pleased with this mat!
