 BRASS SLIDE ADAPTERS DETAILES

Pitless adapters allow you to connect your water pipe from your water well pump to an ground   under discharge,to go to your house. Pitless adapters are 2 piece brass units that have one half installed into the side of the well casing below frost level, and the other half connects to the pipe coming up from your submersible pump. They make a 90 degree elbow through the side of the well casing to discharge the water line under ground. The top of the pitless half that connects to the pump, has a threading into it that does not go through. This allows you to screw a piece of pipe into it to lift the pitless adapter and the pump up out of the receiver half, to disconnect.
