The user may define parameters for the 6 system networks, and switch among networks to operate in different system networks. 

Auto Select BS
The advanced hunt technology enables the radio to always lock onto the BS with stronger signal, ideally suited for the multiple BS covered system. As for the single BS, this feature can be disabled. 

Dynamic Regrouping 
Users have the flexibility to reassign the radios into new talk groups for urgent communication, eliminating the need to return the radios to the workshop for re-programming. The system designated temporary group number is changed upon the mobile radio receives temporary grouping signal from the trunking system. 

Kill/Revive
Through the base station, a lost radio may be remotely killed, and a killed radio can be remotely revived. 

Tough and reliable design
PT6808 meets waterproof IP 54 where the radio does not harm when work in the rain. In addition, it meets MIL-810C/D/E/F standards, it could withstand harsh environment. 

Large capacity storage
Each parameter can set 200 addresses 

Powerful Password Protection
The radio offers power on and programming password protection, to prevent unauthorized use; plus reading password to both protect the privacy and prevent unauthorized cloning of radio data. 

Redial in memory style
6*10 groups dialed number records, press redial-key to call. 

Calling Party Number Display
During a group call, the radio can display the number of the calling party for caller identification 

Large Dot Matrix LCD
The 2-line alphanumeric & iconic display allows immediate communication of vital information such as signal strength indicator, menu number/content, group call talking party number/alias, PFIX, SYS, roaming indicator. Individualized display also provides radio number, user name, and group when radio standby. The keypad and display illuminations also provide the visibility to operate your radio in the dark. 

Voice Compandor
The feature effectively improves the dynamic range of voice signal and enhances the SNR of the given frequency deviation. Decreased background noise insures a transmission of clear voice even in noisy environment.
