Communicating Vessel Type Air-Lock
I. Overview
GFL series is a new type air-lock, it adopts dual channel communicating vessel type structure form, different from traditional impeller type air lock device; its outstanding features and advantages: power consumption is about 10% of the impeller typeair lockof the original capacity.
GFL series air lock offers 5 specification types, i.e. 9L,12L, 16L, 25L, 40L. It may be divided into electric, pneumatic modes according to the drive mode, power is 120-220W. It has been used extensively in building material, food, grain, fodder and other industries.
II.Operating principles
This air lock has two material channels, adopts a structure similar to the ship lock connector type structure at Three Gorges Dam. Two channels feed and discharge materials in turn, ends of the channels are connected in series for circulation purpose, so as to realize material discharge requirements in a sealed manner.
III. Equipment features

V. Installation, operation and maintenance
1. Installation and operation
A professional operator is required for the installation and commissioning, he shall check whether the material inlet/outlet is sealed well, whether the hopper is installed. Check whether motor line voltage is normal and check ground resistance of the housing; check whether sufficient lubricating grease has been filled before operation; check whether there is any abnormity after the motor starts; always stop timely for troubleshooting if there is any abnormity, so as to prevent unnecessary losses.
2. Maintenance
This equipment should be maintained according to general equipment maintenance management system, lubrication and operating conditions should be checked regularly, poor lubrication state or worn sealing elements must be treated timely to ensure the equipment in normal operating state.
In addition, in order to maximize the equipment value, regular patrol inspection or point inspection should be performed for the air lock device, hidden troubles that might influence the life ofair lockmust be eliminated.
