Taper Roller Bearings are belong to separable bearings. There is tapered raceway on bearing inner ring, and also on bearing outter ring.

Features of Taper Roller Bearings:

Taper Roller Bearings can carry heavy load and are stiff. It is mainly used for accomadating the combination loads (Radial loads & Axial loads), which mainly are radial load.

As compared with Angular contact ball bearings, the carrying capacity of Tapered roller Bearing is much higher, the limited rotation speed of Tapered roller bearing is lower.

One direction of axial loads can be carried by tapered roller bearings, and the axial displacement or housing displacement in one direction can be limited by tapered roller bearings.
