5.Characteristic of welding 4145 steel

Chromium molybdenum high tensile steel with yield strength of 550N/mm2.

Chromium renders steel oil hardenable and increase hardenability.

Weldability suffers with increasing chromium content.

High temperature strength and high pressure hydrogenation properties are promotedby chromium

and molybdenum.

Molybdenum significantly reduces temper brittleness.

6.Application of welding 4145 steel

Commonly used for manufacturing 35CrMo higher than the required strength, large partsof theimportant

sectional dimensions.

Such as axis, gear, connecting rod, transmission gears, the supercharger gear,engine cylinder, spring,spring

clamps, 12-2000mm oil pipe fittings, fishing toolsand instead of containing nickel steel high. 

For main shaft of steamer,boly for 400 °C. Hummar shank.same as 35CrMo.with big section.supper force.

100% Ultrasonic according to the test standards:SEP1921-84,GR.3 CLASS C/C or by SGS ,
