JN BA-3313 Environmental Friendly Textile Printing Emulsion
v Product introduction
JN BA-3313 is a new generation environmental friendly modified self-crosslinking acrylate emulsion adhesive for pigment printing, which doesn’t contain APEO (alkylphenol ethoxylates). The adhesive can give printed fabrics soft hand feel, bright colors, high color yield, good rubbing fastness, washing fastness and dry cleaning fastness.
JN BA-3313 has excellent thermal and mechanical stabilities, excellent emulsion stability and film redispersibility that can reduce sticking-in, which makes it fit for the requirements of machine printing. Cotton and polyester cotton are typical printing substrates. The adhesive can achieve the printing viscosity through the use of synthetic thickening agent. It is recommended to be used for flat screen and rotary screen printing.

1 Fabrics treated with JN BA-3313 has soft hand feel, therefore no need for softening agent, reducing cost, and JN BA-3313 can be used for soft fabric.
2.Fabrics treated with JN BA-3313 boast good brightness: there is no need for naphtha in the auxiliary paste, reducing dangers and lowering the cost.

v Application methods
1Finishing Catalysis
JN BA-3313 is a self-crosslinking polymer which can be self-catalyzed during drying and processing. The self-crosslinking of JN BA-3313 will occur under the ideal processing conditions (140°C, 3min or higher temperature). JN BA-3313 can also be applied in printing at room temperature, and the effect of self-crosslinking can be achieved after a period of time, so JN BA-3313 may be applicable for machine and hand printing. Ammonium phosphate can be used as the catalyst to achieve the best effect of hand printing, which should be dissolved with water with a ratio of 1;2and 0.5% - 1.5% of which should be added to the printing formula. The processing of heat treatment is the first choice to achieve the best effect.
2. Thickener
Different from other pigment printing adhesives, JN BA-3313 can use synthetic thickener alone without using auxiliary paste composed of naphtha and emulsifier to give bright color and soft hand feel to the printed fabrics. Therefore, the high-cost and dangerous naphtha can be avoided to ensure clean and safe printing working environment.
3. Printing formula
The formula of stock paste for direct printing is as follows. The dosage of thickener should be adjusted according to the final printing formula, composition, printing method and application conditions.

The printing paste is usually a mixture of stock paste, pigments and printing adhesives. Additives such as catalyst, external crosslinking agent, fabric softener, etc, can be selected as required by the printing fabrics. In addition to the optimal processing conditions, the color fastness of printing has a close relation with the dosage and proportion of the adhesives and pigments. According to the requirements of the printing substrate and the final products, the PH value of the printing paste should be greater than 7.5, and the viscosity between 10000 - 20000CPS.
4. Drying and curing
JN BA-3313 is a self-crosslinking adhesive. Its optimal reaction condition is thermosetting for 3 - 5min at 115 - 150°C. When JN BA-3313 is used in hand printing, the fastness requirement will be met after placing the fabrics at room temperature for a period of time. The catalyst, such as ammonium phosphate, is recommended to be added to achieve the best effect.
v Storage condition
Store the product in a tightly sealed container and avoid freezing and high temperature. The shelf life is 6 months. The storage temperature is suggested to be 5~35°C.
