Tempered Glass
Feature:
1) Tempered glass is strong, has enhanced thermal resistance, and breaks into small cuboids fragments rather than irregular shards of glass and therefore is less likely to cause injury.
2) Application:
Tempered glass is used where strength, thermal resistance and safety are important considerations. Tempered glass is also used in buildings for unframed assemblies (such as frameless doors), structurally-loaded applications, household applications, like furniture glass, and any other application that would become dangerous in the event of a human impact. Some forms of tempered glass are used for cooking and baking.
