With OSPON’s biometric safe, there is no more need to remember a complex numeric combination under duress. The solid steel two point dead bolt locking system guarantees security.

What's in the Box

With your purchase, you will receive the Biometric Safe, mounting hardware, and two emergency back-up keys. Factory pre-drilled anchor points allow you to permanently secure the safe to the floor or wall with the included mounting hardware. It's powered by four AA batteries (included), which can last for up to 2 years.

Care and Maintenance

To maximize security and performance, keep the fingerprint scanner clean. After any use, use a dry cloth to remove any smudges or prints from the fingerprint scanner. Test registered fingerprints every 6 months. When the door is closed and 3 repetitive beeps are heard and indicator lights flash red, it indicates the batteries are low.

Q.Is it fire rated and if so, to what temperature?
A.No. There is no insulation in this safe.

Q.Is it AC or backup battery operated
A.It is battery operated and has backup keys if need be. Battery life is great.

Q.Is the bottom of the safe pre drilled to mount on floor?
A.Yes. There are several holes in the bottom.

Q.how does it mount?

A.There are four holes pre-drilled in the back of the safe, and the safe comes with standard mounting hardware. Sturdier mounting could be accomplished by first mounting a 1/4" piece of plywood to support beams, and then mounting the safe to the plywood.

Q.is this a print reader
A.Definitely. I noticed when I programmed it I did one finger position and I'd get failed reads sometimes. So I programmed 10 or so different positions / angles etc and now I get no failures. I haven't needed to change the batteries yet, been using for a few months now.

Q.Would a hand gun fit in here?
A: I have a sig sauer XD-9 in its case as well as numerous boxes of ammo in this safe. The safe has plenty of room.

One Year Consumer Limited Warranty
Our products are warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for 1 year from the date you receive. Within this period, ospon will, at its sole option, repair or replace any components that fail in normal use. Such repairs or replacement will be made at no charge to the customer for parts, provided the customer shall be responsible for any transportation cost.
This warranty does not apply to

(i) cosmetic damage, such as scratches, nicks and dents;

(ii) consumable parts, such as batteries, unless product damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship;
