In terms of material proportioning and technical output of Zhongjie PU product, six-component mixed pouring technology (SIMENS) allowing on-line automatic operation which is art-of-the-date is adopted to take the lead in achieving six-component continuous foaming in China and finish proportioning process on line at one time. Besides, the formula can be adjusted in accordance with the environmental change to match with air-entrapping mixing unit to bring more well-distributed materials and finer foams for the purpose of producing high strength, energy saving, and environment friendly building panels.
step 1 decoiling
We usually use the high quality pre-painted galvanized steel coil manufactured by Zhongjie itself, but other coils manufactured by Baosteel, Bluescope or any other brands that customers required are also available and acceptable.
step 2 filming
The double metals are filmed in order to avoid scratch or other damage to the coating. The performances of the steel would deteriorate more quickly after the damage of the protection layer film.
step 3 roll forming
The top and bottom metal are formed into different profiles, such as flat, wave, square wave, embossment, which can meet the aesthetic requirements of designers and owners. The profiles can also enhance the strength of the panel.
step 4 convoy
The top and bottom metal are transferred into the double-belt machine in this step. The shelves’ length should be above a certain length in order to keep the speed of the transfer coordinate with the rotating speed of double-belt machine.
step 5 pre-heating
The double metals are preheated by an air conditioner or heating tubes in order to control the speed of foaming and enhance the adhesion between the metal and foam.
step 6 foaming
This step is the most complex and foremost step in the procedure of the production of polyurethane sandwich panel. Several chemical materials are mixed and sprayed onto the surface of the bottom metal.
step 7 double-belt molding
The polyurethane foam is transferred into the double-belt machine continuously to be molded.
step 8 cutting
The panels are cut into certain lengths automatically according to customer’s needs.
step 9 stacking
The finished panels are stacked automatically by machine.
step 10 packing
The finished panels are packed stack by stack with a protection film.
1. Effective insulation
The thermal conductivity coefficient of the rigid polyurethane(PU) foam can be 0.018-0.024 w/(m*k), which is only the half of expanded polystyrene(EPS), if its density is 35-40kg/m³. Rigid polyurethane foam is the best organic insulating material.
Since the thermal conductivity coefficient of the vesicant used is much lower than air, the insulating property of rigid polyurethane foam is better than rock wool, glass wool, expanded polystyrene and extruded polystyrene. Moreover, its insulating property can be sustainable for more than 30 years for its special closed-cell structure and resistance to gas diffusion.

The polyurethane foam performs well in corrosion and weather resistance for its closed-cell structure and its surface material.

5. Energy efficiency and cost saving
Although the price is much higher than other alternatives, taking into account the excellent insulating property of the polyurethane foam, the increased costs will be offset by a substantial reduction in heating and cooling costs. Furthermore, we can reduce the thickness of external structure of the building by using thinner polyurethane foam to achieve the same insulating requirements, thereby increasing the indoor area.
6. Fireproof and high temperature resistance
Rigid polyurethane foam is a flame-retardant and self-extinguishing material after. It can reach a softening point of 250 degrees Celsius and decomposes at a higher temperature. A layer of carbon will be formed if it is lighted, which will effectively prevent the spread of the flame.
7. Anti-deformation and hardly to be cracked
The average life expectancy of rigid polyurethane foam can be more than 30 years under normal use and maintenance. It won’t be destroyed by fungi and algae growth, or rodents.
