Physical refining

Physical refining means removing free fatty acid using wet distillation  rather than neutralization. It has the following features:

1.Less oil loss and product have high stability;

2.More suitable for oil with high acid value and low gum impurity;

3.More FFA is distilled out;

4.No wastewater in the process of water washing.

Chemical refining

Chemical refining means removing FFA in a chemical way(acid-base neutralization). Chemical refining has following features:

1.Excellent adaptability and less requirements to oil quality;

2.Niger have strong adsorptivity, and it have de-acidify, de-gum and de-impurity function together;

3.High quality of product;

4.Less clay is added into compared with physical refining.

Technological description of different processes :

Hydration degumming

Hydration degumming means adding into some hot water to make the hydrosol agglomerated, deposited and then seperate it. The separated gum can be made into lecithin or added into cakes or meals in the extraction workshop. Degumming oil can be used to produce forth-grade oil by dehydration and desolventization.

special degumming

Special degumming is suit to pre-treatment of physical refining. And small quality of acid or dilute base to the vegetable oil, strictly control the corresponding conditions to seperate out the hydrated gum and un-hydrated gum. Gum content in oil should be controlled suitable for downstream processing.

Chemical neutralization process

Chemical neutralization process means adding acid alkali and water into oil to remove FFA. Chemical neutralization has following features:

1.Be suit to many oil materials;

2.Be suit to oil with different quality;

3.The technology is flexible and can be adjusted;

4.Less oil loss.

Miscella alkali refining

Bleaching

Adding high activity clay into oil under the definite temperature and vacuum condition. Mix and heat the mixture of oil and clay to make small particle of pigment absorbed on the clay crystal. At last, filter the oil.

1.Bleaching system at vacuum state can avoid oxidation;

2.Logical frame of bleaching tank makes the oil contact with clay evenly;

3.Equip with efficiency and effectively earth dosesing system that canbe running automatically;

4.Filter equipment running steadily, have less trouble and residual oil in meal is less.

Dewaxing
