Pretreatment Section 

In the vegetable oil processing plant, before the extrusion of oil from oil seeds, an oil pretreatment process is typically undertaken to improve the efficiency of production and to ultimately save on costs.

The entire oil processing plant generally includes: cleaning, sieving, hulling, separation, cracking, particle making, frying, softening, flaking, drying, and expelling oil materials.

Main machines:

Oil seeds cleaning: vibrating Separator, specific-gravity stoner, magnetic separator, etc.

Oil seeds crushing: toothed cracking roll (two pair), disc huller.

Oil seeds softening: horizontal softening kettle.

Oil seeds flaking: paired or two-pair flaking roll.

Oil seeds drying: chain dryer, air drying conveyor.

Oil seeds extruding: oil seeds extruder.

Oil seeds cooking: vertical stack cooker.

Solvent Extraction Section

Solvent extraction is a process to extract oil from oil bearing materials by means of solvent, and the typical solvent is hexane.

Main machines:

Tube condenser, oil stripper, solvent evaporator, desolventizer toaster, loop type Oil extractor, rotary or rotocel extractor, oil tank, etc.

Adopting box-chained loop type extractor can effectively achieve low residual oil, low solvent consumption and low failure rate of equipment. • Negative pressure technology is adopted in condensate system. Using the secondary steam which comes from the DTDC as the heat source of first evaporation, thus can maximum save the energy consumption.

Oil Refinery Section 

Edible oil refinery plant refers to a series of refining processes that can remove phospholipids, FFA, pigment, off-flavor and other impurities in the oil. Usually there are two methods in edible oil refinery plant, one is chemical refining, the other is physical refining. 

 Features of Physical Refining

1.High refinement rate; less oil loss.

2.No waste water discharged.

3.More FFA distilled.

4.Especially suited for highly acidic oils, and those of low gum content

Features of Chemical Refining

1.Excellent adaptability and fewer requirements for high oil quality

2.The finished oil is consistent and stable

3.Less bleaching earth necessary compared with physical refining

Clarifying tank, filter press, disc centrifuge, oil and alkali dosing machine, mixer, vacuum dryer, neutralization tank, soapstock tank, bleaching tower, deodorizing tower, etc.
