Steel studs are welded by a flashing resistance welding process onto the base tube, Advantages:
1)Satisfying connection surface, little heat loss .
2)Welding connection rate higher than 90 percent.
3)No need of welding power, hardly any welding tumor .
4)Narrow heated zone on the surface, no melted pool, without destroying the tissue of basic tube.
5) Welding parameters are strictly set to ensure the quality of bulk studded tube and avoid the instability of manual operation
Why a studded pipe?
1.Increase efficiency in the process of heat recovery and direct flame hostile atmospheres.
2.Reduce the amount of bare pipes used in these processes. (Heat transfer surface of one studded pipe is equivalent to surface of 4 to 10 bare pipes).
3.Ideal for processes applications where dirty fuels are used and harsh environments in terms of temperature and / or corrosion.
Stud Material
1.Carbon steel ASTM A510 grade 1005 to 1010.
2.Alloy steels normally used in steel studs.
3.ASTM A193 Grade: B6, B6X, B8, B8a, B8M, B8C, etc.
4.AISI 304, 316, 410, 347, 321.
