KE29 Butyl tape conformable, durable, tacky mastic with an easy release liner, it is designed for quick and easy insulating, padding and sealing of objects that need to be protected from adverse environmental.

The butyl tape is well suited for corrosion protection, but it’s better to be overwrapped with vinyl tape to create a reliable weatherproof seal around cable connections and other weather-sensitive devices.

The KE29 Butyl tape is a high tack sealant with excellent adhesion to cable jackets and other insulating materials. It maintains its tack and flexibility to temperatures as low as 0°F (-18°C), ensuring a high quality seal over a wide range of temperatures. It may be overwrapped with PVC insulation tape to create a weatherproof seal with excellent resistance to environmental factors such as water, condensation, dust, UV and sunlight over a range of temperatures.
