Working Theory

The ice spot cold hammer provides cold therapy whenever and wherever you need it. Use Processing:

Insert Batteries:

Please notice that inserts the batteries incorrectly will damage the device, so please read these instructions carefully. Insert four alkaline AA size batteries in the battery compartment. Pay attention to the polarity. The tiny bulge at the center of the battery is positive and the flat bottom is negative. Insert two batteries in the left compartment, positive end facing down. Then insert two batteries in the left compartment, negative end facing down. For long-term use and economy, it’s better to use rechargeable batteries. For this purpose, we recommend nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries

Using:

lTo turn on your ice spot cold hammer, press the “on” button until it clicks, making sure the fan is running and the green indicator LED is on. Pressing the “on” button a second time shuts off the device and the green indicator LED will be off

lGently press the metal disk against the palm of your hand to test temperature. If it feels comfortably cool, then gently press and hold the disk against your skin. Remove the device if it feels too cold.

lThe Ice Spot Cold Hammer will reach its maximum chill faster if it is not held against your skin for the first 30-40 seconds of use

lIf you are allergic to metal surfaces, then you must place a thin sheet of cloth, like a handkerchief, over the disk before using this device.

lIn normal room temperatures about 75^oF, this device will reach a maximum chill temperature of approximately 40^oF. In more extreme heat 80^oF and above, this device will reach a maximum chill temperature of approximately 40^oF below temperature of environment.

lDo not try to open the device except to change the batteries in the battery compartment. There are no serviceable parts inside and you could damage your Ice Spot Cold Hammer.

lAfter each use, wipe the Ice Spot Cold Hammer clean with a dry towel.
